GENERAL COLLECTION forms nucleus of the Library. Selection of books and other materials is done with a view to cater to the needs of faculty, researchers, students and Faculties.
REFERENCE COLLECTION consists of Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Rare Books, Theses, Colleges and Universities Catalogs. Government Publications. Entries for these sources appear in the OPAC with “R” over the CALL Number.
RESERVE COLLECTION will be housed behind the Circulation Desk consisting of the material reserved by Library Users (users will be informed when his / her required reading material returned to the Circulation and reserve only for 24hrs to collect).
DIGITAL/AUDIO VISUAL COLLECTION includes Video/Audio Cassettes/ CDS and other digital materials. (will be used in Library Multimedia Lab)
PERIODICALS COLLECTION is shelved alphabetically by title on the Periodicals Display Stands in Hall-B. Bound volumes of the old journals are shelved in the Reference Room.
